Today is the New York city marathon, I haven't run in it since 2000. To tell the truth I don't like to run it anymore. There are too many people, it's such a pain trying to get into it and there is so much waiting around. First to go pick up your number and then at the starting area. Of course lots of people like all that stuff, in fact I have a lot of friends who do run the race. When I first ran it in 1978 it was a lot different.
I did go out with my friend Utpal and run for 2 hours in Flushing Meadow park, it is cool and sunny, I think pretty good conditions for the marathon. Oh yeah I hope Paula Radcliff wins the womens race!
