This morning I went into the city early with my friend Sudip. We actually went to Central park to watch the US Men's Olympic Marathon Trials. There were 133 elite Americans vying for 3 spots on the Olympic team.This was the lead group as they passed us for the second time, just after this the runner in blue, Ryan Hall from California made a break and eventually won the race by 2 minutes in a time of 2:09:02. He looked so fresh at the end and actually jogged and waved to the crowd as he crossed the finish line. I know it is almost a year away, but I think the US will have a pretty strong team in Beijing next year. It was just really cool to see these guys running, what a thrill.
